Our Story

Kenya, a nation brimming with youthful energy, has also grappled with the pressing issues of poverty and unemployment among its young population.

But a group of determined young individuals decided to turn their frustration into a force for good. Together, they founded Together for Africa (TOFA), a non-profit organization committed to empowering the youth and transforming communities.

Recognizing the untapped potential within Kenya's young people, TOFA embarked on a mission to identify and nurture exceptional talent. By providing these young minds with the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources, the organization aims to equip them to become catalysts for positive change.

At the core of TOFA's strategy is the belief that by investing in youth, they are investing in the future of the nation. The organization offers a comprehensive program that includes entrepreneurship training, leadership development, and mentorship. Through these initiatives, young people are empowered to develop innovative solutions to the challenges facing their communities.

Once equipped with the necessary tools, TOFA sends these young changemakers back into their communities to implement their ideas. By supporting grassroots initiatives, the organization aims to create a ripple effect of positive change.

TOFA's approach is not just about individual success but about building a network of young leaders who can collaborate and multiply their impact.

From establishing sustainable businesses to implementing community development projects, TOFA's alumni have demonstrated remarkable achievements. Their work is inspiring others, creating a new generation of socially conscious and entrepreneurial-minded young people.

TOFA's impact extends beyond individual success stories. The organization is actively engaged in policy advocacy, working to create an enabling environment for youth-led initiatives. By collaborating with government, private sector, and other stakeholders, TOFA is striving to create a more sustainable future for Kenya's youth.

As TOFA continues to grow and expand its reach, the organization remains committed to its core mission: empowering young people to be agents of change. By investing in the potential of Kenya's youth, TOFA is building a brighter future for the nation and inspiring hope for generations to come.
